Full Stack Developer - FTC - Oxford

COMPANY:

Working for a global biotech company you will be working within a technical team who are at the forefront of combining science and technology. As a Full Stack Developer on a FTC basis, you will be working on  high priority structural biology and scientific projects enabling Scientists to utilise more effectively current and future technology solutions 

Utilising Python and JavaScript programming languages  you will have the opportunity to continue the innovative work of the department, maintaining and developing technology applications within a scientific setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Creating, maintaining and developing technology solutions/applications using Python and JavaScript programming
• Supporting scientific research in particular within the biology teams
• Design, develop and test program functionality for new and existing applications
• Developing functional specifications and writing documentation
• Working collaboratively and cross functionally within the business and external stakeholders

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Extensive Python programming including working with ColdFusion

Experience working with one or more of JS – Vue, Angular, React, jQuery or ExtJS

Confident using  XML, SDF, SMILES, JSON formats.

Experience working within a scientific or structural biology setting

Confident communicator, with the ability to work cross functionally and engage with internal and external stakeholders
